Our mission is to heal the community through actions to spread an ethnopsychological culture.
TRAINING COURSES
The Center carries out a widespread training activity over a large territory, aimed at educators, psychologists, social workers and mediators who work in reception centers and mental health services. The Penc Center organizes courses on the topics of clinical ethnopsychology and ethnoclinical mediation, as well as on the guidelines in the field of Psychological First Aid of the major international organizations and on a survivor-centered approach.

CLINICAL CENTER OF ETHNOPSYCHOLOGY
The Clinical Center of Ethnopsychology is the central project of the Penc Center in which the psychological care and treatment of foreign patients takes place according to the GeoClinical Ethnopsychiatry approach, through competent linguistic-cultural mediation.
The Center was founded in 2008 within the University Hospital of Palermo “P. Giaccone” and moved in 2017 to the premises of the Guarantor for childhood and adolescence in the municipality of Palermo.

ADVICE
Centro penc provides consultancy in the field of Ethnopsychology to professionals, care givers, educators, volunteer guardians and to all those who offer educational and relational support to vulnerable foreign subjects, including unaccompanied foreign minors; the Center is also specialized in supervising reception centers for unaccompanied minors and reception centers for refugees and asylum seekers.
